An HDMI Switch Box Necessary
So now I have the PS3, Xtreamer, TechniSat, MacBook and JVC GZ-HD7 camcorder that needs to get plugged into the HDTV. It could be a chore to bend over to move HDMI cable from one peripheral to the other for viewing. My Samsung TV only has 3 HDMI inputs thus once a while I gotta pull out an HDMI cable from one and plug into another. In care of my already sore back, my solution to this is to get a HDMI Switcher. I think its a nice simple gadget that helps you with the cable hassle. You plug in all the different accessory into the Numbered Input of the Switchbox and its one cable out to the HDTV. Voila!
Switching differs from various switch box. This one I got comes with Auto Detect. Which means it will switch to the last hardware that’s been turned on. But just in case they’re all kept on and you want to switch from one source to the other, this NEET switch comes with an IR Remote. Handy! Pun intended I guess. 🙂 Well you could also walk to the switch and manually select the input.
HDMI Switcher allows access to multiple HDMI devices, such as PS3 and Satellite set-top boxes to one HDMI display . It’s the best peripheral for home theater systems and dual computer users. No more hassles of manually plugging in different HDMI connectors to view different HDMI sources. I got this out from their eBay store for around EU35 incl shipping. Its a 5*1 switch that enables 5 HDMI devices to be attached to my HDTV. Oh, and it comes with a complimentary MicroFibre cloth! Free.
