thoughts and decisions for a creative edge

New Zealand in 4K Resolution

First country that I ever travelled to on my own when I was 15 was New Zealand. OK technically not alone, as I was with other music students from Singapore for a music exchange in Auckland and Christchurch. Nevertheless, it was without the parents. That’s quite a big deal for us kids being away for couple of weeks.

Having the opportunity to travel as a teenager adds color to everything you see. So vivid I can almost remember colors, landscapes and even scent of the morning dew. Being billeted to a Kiwi family during our stay, experiencing to budget your money between souvenirs and food, the fresh smell of bread, lamb chops and even sulphur smoke out of Rotorua; they all lingers with a smile.

Boast all I can, memories do fade over time. When I saw this on the web, it rekindled these memories I have about that place. Its just a 2 min and a half clip.. and that’s all I need to want to go back there again. Even more now that my sister lives there! I’ve promised her we’d come for a visit some time. And I think Jacob’s helped make that decision on why we should.. What a gorgeous country it is.

Grass is always greener on the other side. The vastness that seats in New Zealand is incomparable to any other.

    • Incredible Jake.. Edit quality only gets better! Do you have a crew working with you this time around or was it all by yourself again shooting St John’s Island? Not only the images but also the great soundscapes you used.
